Little Lizards

(5.5-6 yrs.) - Beginner 1
This class is designed for the young beginning gymnast. Our focus in this program is to teach the proper drills, skills and conditioning for our beginner level gymnasts. Students in this class are reaching towards accomplishing the following skills: Vault: running drills, proper board hitting drills Balance Beam: confidence on both low and high beams, walking in various directions, working on balances & scales Floor: positions, forward rolls, handstand kick-up, cartwheel and backward roll on incline Bars: front support, casting, pullovers with a light spot and bent arm hold in various positions. Chameleon 2

The Chameleon 2 program will further build on the skills that were mastered in Chameleon 1 or Little Lizards. In this class we will continue to focus on proper form, shapes, and technique for each skill as well as learn new and exciting skills that will keep the gymnasts minds engaging. Strength and conditioning are also incorporated to help build on minds and bodies. Using lesson plans specifically designed for this program will help each individual gymnast feel the empowerment of the sport as well as help them gain increased body awareness and coordination. The Geckos class will further build on skills that were mastered in Tiny Stars or Chameleon 2. This class is designed for the younger gymnast, ages 5-7 years. Gymnasts will learn new, more difficult ways to perform the basic core skills. They will also progress to intermediate level skills on all apparatus that will require added focus, increased strength and flexibility. Proper skill execution will be emphasized to promote safety and future advancements. (one 60 min. class/week) $98 per month View the goals for this class...
