At Stars & Stripes Learning Academy we believe in Child Centered Kinesthetic Action Based Learning. What does that mean exactly? It means that our program centers around the belief that children learn best through active, purposeful hands on experiences that allow them to explore, learn, and discover the world around them. We believe that no two children learn the exact same way,  therefore we cannot teach each child the same way.  We offer learning opportunities that are designed to meet the need of the individual child.  We teach the way they learn. Our approach to education and physical fitness allows our students to develop the important fine/large motor, cognitive, social, listening, problem solving, and self-help skills necessary for each child to be successful throughout their school years and their life. 

Stars & Stripes offers morning half day programs, as well as full day programs. This allows you to find the program that best suits your child. Every class at Stars & Stripes Learning Academy engages in 30 minute sessions of active gym time each class day for the half day program. The full day programs have two 30 minute active gym sessions; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Our physical fitness sessions are fun and high energy to meet the needs of each individual group. Stars & Stripes has state of the art athletic equipment that is specifically designed for the development of the young child. Students will get the opportunity to grow and develop large motor skills; running, jumping, balancing, climbing, swinging, while    doing dance, games, music, gymnastics, and warrior training (just to name a few).  Each child has the opportunity to work on their own personalized skills under the supervision of trained instructors. What a great way for a child to feel the empowerment of athletics while experiencing all the FUN that comes with full body movement.
