Performance Training
Success in athletics begins with a strong foundation. Athlete+ will provide athletes the opportunity to build a strong base for enhancement of their overall athletic foundation for current skills as well as promote future development. Participants will receive group instruction, in weekly training sessions, that is efficient, effective and enjoyable in a structured, high-energy environment. Instruction is offered for ages 5 ½ to 13 years with a variety of class types to choose from.

Facility & Equipment
The Athlete+ facility includes 2 different athletic surfaces including an area of turf and hard floor (basketball). The cardio training area including stationary bikes and treadmills along with other tools for building cardio endurance. Weight training equipment is available for the more developed, experienced athletes. Additionally, a variety of tools and equipment will be incorporated in the training from sleds to padded boxes along with weights and several other pieces of training equipment to make sessions enjoyable, different each week and productive.

Football Foundation

Athlete+

The Football Foundation instructional class provides athletes the opportunity to work on the fundamentals of the game including core skills and athletic conditioning specific to the sport, with the objective of building a strong overall foundation to enhance long term success specific to football.  Focus is placed on the skills to enhance the game rather than the game itself; the emphasis of the class is placed on skills development and improvement.

Great for athletes during the off-season to maintain and improve skills in a structured environment or in-season athletes wanting to gain an advantage.  Also a great option for athletes exploring a variety of sports and desiring well-rounded athleticism.

Ultimate Athlete

Athlete+

Athlete+ is committed to building well-rounded, multi-dimensional athletes through our sports conditioning program. Participants already specializing in a specific sport can enhance their game through this program. Additionally, athletes who may not yet specialize in a sport have the opportunity for physical fitness, self-improvement and challenging themselves both physically and mentally.  
 
Areas of Focus: 
Flexibility key for longevity and injury prevention
Balance & Core Strength - for generating power from a standing position, creating a strong athletic stance and coordination
Footwork and Plyometrics - to enhance quick twitch, speed and power
Strength Training - upper and lower body explosive power necessary for athletics

*form and technique will be emphasized

Basketball Foundation

A.C.T. Basketball

The Basketball Foundation instructional class provides athletes the opportunity to work on the fundamentals of the game including core skills and athletic conditioning specific to the sport; with the objective of building a strong overall foundation to enhance long term success in basketball.  Focus is placed on the skills to enhance the game rather than the game itself; while athletes will occasionally play games, emphasis of the class is skill development and improvement.

Basketball Foundation:

  • program for boys and girls; ages 5 years (co-ed), 6-8 years, 9-11 years and 12-14 years
  • fundamentals including dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, moving without ball
  • game situations and practice without actually scrimmaging
  • creating the tools to play 5 on 5
  • light speed/agility/strength emphasis
  • 8-10 athletes to 1 coach ratio (will stay closer to 8:1 for younger age groups)
     

Spring Schedule (May-June):

Boys & Girls Basketball Foundation Clinic: $129

  • Weather a total beginner or experienced, this class will provide players a great basketball foundation by focusing fundamentals including dribbling, passing, shooting and coordinated, effective movement on the court. Great for both beginner and experienced players.
  • 6 to 1 athlete to coach ratio provides individualized attention and opportunity for productive feedback.

    • Girls (6-8 years) - Tuesday 5:00-6:00pm  
      May 14th - June 4th (4 weeks)
    • Boys (6-8 years) - Wednesday 6:00-7:00pm  
      May 15th - June 5th (4 weeks)


Summer FLEX Schedule (July-August): 
$24/class (30 minute class) - $5 off/class if registering for 4 or more classes
$37/class (60 minute class) - $5 off/class if registering for 4 or more classes

  • organized, instructional play, focus is on playing the game and practicing real game situations
  • coaches will pause during games for “teachable moments” and constructive critiques
  • 8-10 to 1 coach ratio (will stay at 8 and below for younger age groups)

Summer FLEX Schedule (July-August):  
$37/class (60 minute class) - $5 off/class if registering for 4 or more classes

  • Girls 9-11 years - Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm
  • Girls 12-14 years - Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm
  • Boys 9-11 years - Mondays 5:00-6:00pm
  • Boys 12-14 years - Mondays 6:00-7:00pm

Combo Training

  • Elevate your game with the combo class which includes focus on fundamentals of the game including dribbling, passing and shooting along with emphasis on strength and conditioning to enhance the game. Individualized attention with small athlete to coach ratios.

Summer 2-Day Clinics

A.C.T. Basketball

Our Summer 2-Day Clinics are offered to both boys and girls ages 8 to 14 years and is designed to help players improve their skills and confidence. Athletes will be divided into groups based on experience, skill, focus and age. Smaller athlete to coach ratios allow for individualized attention and an environment that can cater to beginner through advanced players.
